Composition of solid control equipment
Drilling fluid-solid phase control system mainly includes three parts: drilling fluid circulation tank, drilling fluid purification treatment equipment and electrical control equipment. Among them, the drilling fluid purification treatment equipment mainly includes shale shaker, desander, desilter, degasser, decanter centrifuge, centrifugal sand pumps, mud agitators and jet mud mixers, etc. Our HYANG series solid control equipment can be also equipped with drill cuttings recovery and drilling waste treatment devices for environmentally sensitive areas.
Main equipment
Drilling Fluid Shale Shaker
As the first phase solids control equipment for drilling fluid treatment, shale shaker is used to remove harmful solid particles such as cuttings in the drilling fluid. The drilling fluid selects different mesh of shaker screens to control the size of the particles, it’s mainly used to separate solid phase particles larger than 74μm.
Cyclone separator (Desander, Desilter)
Desander is a second class mud purification equipment for drilling fluids. Desander is mainly used to separate solid phase particle sizes larger than 44~74μm in the drilling fluids. Desilter is mainly used as the third class purification of drilling fluid, and the desilter mainly separates mud solid phase particles size 15-44μm. Micro cyclones can also be selected according to the actual conditions of the drilling fluid, which are mainly used to separate mud solid particles above 2 ~4μm.
Decanter Centrifuge
The function is to control the clay particles in the well fluid, control the solid phase of the drilling fluid, remove the solid content of the non-aggravated drilling fluid, and recycle barite in the aggravated drilling fluid. Drilling fluid decanter centrifuge mainly separates solid-phase particles size 2~4μm.
Vacuum Degasser
A vacuum degasser is mainly used to remove the gas invading the drilling fluid. It does not belong to the scope of solids control, but it is very important for returning mud gravity, stabilizing mud viscosity and reducing cost, also sometimes it can be used as a heavy power agitator.
